Photographic evidence that some people have more time on their hands than is good for them:

May be an image of car and outdoors

The seller sensibly decided to not include a photo of the front...

Crazy bargain even if it's rotten (which it probably is). If it comes with the hardtop, which it appears to, that alone is worth the asking price

Judging by the MOT history (reg is S202 SLC it seems) it required welding in 2014, but it passed tests in recent years without mentions of crusty bodywork.

This sounds like a well sorted Rover 75 having had most of their big ticket items done, i.e rear upper arms, front bushes and clutch to name a few. New rubber all around as a bonus.

2.0 Diesel manual estate. £850 Glasgow

Posted for amusement value from the ridiculous advert. Ignore the boring modern.

Here is "Kiki the Ka" who was "adopted 2.5 years ago" (🤦🙄

I'm led to believe @barefootloves* the concept of naming cars and treating them as if they aren't inanimate, so enjoy!

Has a hole in the diesel tank which leaks if you brim it. Lovely, that's safe for bikers 🤦

And the front bumper seems to have had a very subtle* historical paint job

0-60 in NINETEEN seconds 🤔😆

There's ways of making it quicker though...

...such as tailwinds, downhill stretches of road, towing it, pushing it off a cliff etc...

To think I almost had a 6K2 Ibiza with that engine as my first car

In the end, it was not to be.

Back then, I was extremely bummed about it as an 18yo eager to start driving

The 1.2 12v engine is better, although wasn't in the 6K2 I don't think. Although the fuel economy is less, it's quite quick off the mark since it's not a big lazy lump, I'm only* 16 "seconds" compared to the 19 of the SDI. 🤣
