- Sells XK convertible for £1000 due to MOT fail

- Obfuscates plates with the Daily Mail so we can't check MOT history

I suspect the failures might be a bit more serious than just a dead lightbulb or worn out wiper blade😉

Must be worth that for spares though to be fair?

Eh?

Think I'll just buy a 73 El Camino that seems to do the job.

BTW I think it's cool as but I can't get my head around why some one would go to the hassle.

Tbh, if those paintings thrown on the back were made by a collage of Emma Bunton's used trollies, I still wouldn't want the fucking thing.

IIRC these were just a Defender clone without any LR involvement. You can see its actually on leaf springs rather than coils. So yes, the year is correct.

I’ve just walked past this for sale in my local town and I secretly think I love it.

I haven’t seen a Santana since the 90s, never knew they still made them!

Looks a good buy considering the price of old Defenders. I’d just stick some LR badges on it.

And a Defender IS a refined drive??

Compared to a Series leafer, even on parabolic springs like that Frankenstein Santana it very much is!

Reading the landy forums I gather parts supply for the PS10 has always been an issue as it's far enough removed from any LR product not to be parts interchangeable.

For some reason I can not get into Farcebook adverts. I do not want to join and so they hate me? Any how That means I cannot read the advert so does it say that they are still produced?

If so that is not correct the partnership with LR was dissolved in 1990. To cut a long story short the company was dissolved in 2011.

Can you not just use some fake details? Most profiles on there don’t appear to be people’s real names.

Yeah there are options, like Peugeot 205 alloys, but nothing really that 924 owners want to upgrade to particularly.
Doing a 5 stud swap opens up lots of Fuchs & Porsche alloy options, like on the beige one above, which seem to be the desirable ones to fit.
Porsche owners generally seem to have a very Porsche centric view of cars.

Does this mean I can put cookie cutters on my fiesta? 4 x 108 after all

If I sold everything I owned, used all my money and chopped in the rest of my postgrad loan I could juuuuuuuuussssst afford to buy and put fuel in this. I haven't done this because I really don't like the wheels and I would have to resort to prostitiution to buy replacements.

1984 Nissan Sunny automatic in excellent condition, low mileage

Saw this gem a few weeks ago, and it kinda makes me wish I had the money.

Then again, would be the first time I spent this much on a car.

I asked the seller when was a good time to collect it. He insisted "Saturday night's alright". 🙄

The only way this could be better is if it was Techno Violet. I'd be too scared of it rusting away to use it daily.
