It's a "Scoda"

Would be good after a clean, new headlight units etc. Or if you want to be more obnoxious:

I badly want one of these, but in a better spec. Lol.

This looks fantastic,  I like Crystal green and it is one of the first of this model.

Would look good next to my TVR with that number plate, I hope there is none in the Granada.

Green Chatsworth cloth and a green dash surround, perfection!

This comes up for sale a lot. It looks great value and very interesting I cannot understand why it has not found a decent home.

It was for sale for a long, long time with the previous owner. £2000 starting bid auctions that never had a single bid. These guys bought it, I assume, for quite a bit less. When the previous owner had it up I was talking to my Flavia guru about it, and he reckoned it would be worth a punt if "it was less than a grand". The trouble is the parts for this will be just as expensive as for a coupé, and you'll be left with something that most people in this country won't understand and you'll probably never be able to sell it. Definitely not for enough money to cover the costs of recommissioning. As I keep having to tell myself, a new brake servo for one of these is £1500. That Buy it Now really is just the downpayment on a working car.

If I had more money I'd have it, as these are probably the greatest saloon cars ever built, but (maybe because I'm getting old) it does seem like a possible world of pain and expense when you could buy the nicest one in the world for £10k

Not shitty enough; would be better if it was on 2 curb damaged three spoke alloys, 1 steelie with a generic Halfords wheeltrim, and 1 emergency spare. And all tyres should be of different brands of course.

And the colour of the panels that are red is far too close for my liking.

I had one of these about 20 years ago and it was getting rusty then. Mine was a manual too. It needed a new fuel tank and pre forums and ebay trying to get a tank for it was impossible. Pity as it was an awesome car.

As lovely as it is, I can't see how this can fetch a buyer for nigh on 10 bags, especially as it isn't exactly a minter.

Still, it's RHD so that ads to its rarity.
