Few years ago when I was working for Deliveroo, I was waiting in a  burger shop in Manchester universally hated by riders for being rude, slow, and incredibly cramped. A suspiciously young looking lad in a puffer jacket doing Uber Eats (they were very new at the time and had just been on a big hiring drive) came in and dragged one of these awful contraptions into the already packed takeaway with him.

He managed to knock the fuel tank, which spun around the top tube, and pissed two stroke all over the glossy tiled floor. Everyone was struggling to keep the laughter back.

They’re not even stealth I imagine the  coppers would hear you coming 2 streets away.

This is a posh HLS, yet it has a single carb. My A-plate Ambassador was bottom of the range but twin carb.
BL really were all over the place sometimes.

All HLS models should have twin carbs.

The 2.0 HL originally had a single carb but got upgraded to twin cars later, there were quite a few changes to the equipment levels in the Ambassador's short production run.

I was leching over this last night. I think the photos are taken at the Gaydon Motor Museum, which would make sense as it's from their collection. There have been occasional sales from their fleet, usually on a 'sealed bids' basis.

I agree it's not £4750 nice though.

Manor Park summer auction July 6. It made £4500

Might even be the auction house itself  as the Metro and Montego listed were there too.

Edit : didn't sell

Every day I am increasingly frustrated of my tiny tiny income. This is no money, an exciting adventure away and right up my street.

Having less than no money and my bloody BMW being increasingly broken makes it inaccessable though. Any millionaires out there want to take pity on me?

I actually wish my BMW was broken to give me an excuse to buy this as a replacement ! What a fantastic thing

Now something unusual has come for sale here in Norway. 1987 Ford Escort van which was parked in 1991 and has only done 31,000 km. 25,000kr or about 2090 pounds. There can not be many left of these?

Might have just ruptured something laughing at that

Automatic Alpine! I love it, I imagine that auto box will be all kinds of horrible

That car entirely epitomises the word auto-shite.

Not many left because @bub2006 is on a one man mission to rid the world of them. ;-)
