Cheap entry into pre war motoring, but what an absolute mess...

Dunno what's going on there but, going by the paint scheme, I bet the seller likes milky coffee.

Sounds interesting. You'd think BMW v12 right ?

Wrong, Jag v12

On carbs of course.

That would be interesting* at MOT time trying to get through the emmisions. That's assuming it ever gets finished of course which I somehow I doubt.

Correct I doubt this will ever see the  road again never mind under v12 power. BMW did do a v12 x5 but it looks like they did a bit more than bolt a couple of carbs on it.

This is rather cool, 1993 Toyota Corona EXIV.

It's €7k, reduced from 9, and was €1500 a year ago

That's the only other Corona EXiV I'm aware of around Europe, seen it last time. Guess my 300 quid purchase was quite the bargain in comparison, and I got the bigger engine and cooler pre-fl looks!

85 years that managed to hold onto its registration mark

85 years, until someone decided they wanted to make a quick buck...

(OSX989 was issued recently on the 19th Of October)

its this kind of plate robbery that pisses me off the most, the ones where you know the person managed to find the car cheap bought it only to flog the registration mark on and then flog the car back on ebay not really caring about the car itself in the slightest

*grumble*

(its still a lovely old thing mind :)
