Pfft, not enough of a liability if it's "very fine", is it? Even cheaper and described as a "rough diamond", this manual, non-MOT'd, former cat S write-off C6 with various concerning issues and guesswork mileage will be a great test of bravery, skill, patience, and quite possibly one's bank account*.

Exactly.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about 2CVs to have realised this - but my shite car education continues via AS!

The original chassis had full plated panels under the chassis legs from engine front back to the petrol tank. Some after market ones have some flat panels ( mine does) but many don’t bother. The one shown has rust so isn’t galvanised but certainly isn’t original Citroen so I’d put it as early 1990s.

I’m sure someone will like the challenge. Weird dents and all.

3 door chevette estate. They're before my time but I thought it was hatchback or nothing. First time I've even seen a photo of one

Vans, estates, saloons, hatchbacks and hot hatch versions were made for the UK market.

DS23s are worth a bit more than 15 grand these days. Lucky if you can find a good RHD one for under 25 grand, and if it's the fuel-injected version.....

I hadn’t kept up, test drove. LHD base model a few years ago that adie pears had for £5000 but decided against it. Too floaty,

The 23s are what everyone seems to want, and if you add in the cost of having the 4-speed semi-auto converted to 5-speed....the world's your lemon.

According to the badge it's a lowly 21, though. Plenty of better candidates out there I'd have thought...
