Another for @Six-cylinderto save?  I'm sure sourcing a windscreen and bootlid will be easy*

Barn find, Lancia Gamma Coupe

Barn find, Lancia Gamma Coupe

This looks more solid than the identical one I bought in 1987. (‘Screen and bootlid excepted)

Underneath that infuriating poor-qualityness of ‘70s Italian cars, Gammas are really bloody lovely cars. Sigh…

This looks a suitable tool for living out my 'I'm in a french 60's film smoking Gaulois with a yé-yé girl in the passenger seat' fantasies.

Either that, or having a background drive-on part in a Jacques Tati film

The YouTube views for cleaning this would pay for the car alone.

No MOT, although nothing horrible on its most recent couple of tests. One owner, history... could be a good buy, as long as "Because Ford" tax doesn't get applied to it.

Loses some points for gratuitous use of "Barn Find" in the title.

What sort of things do you think tradesmen transported in their Ka vans back in the day?

A4 notepads?

A couple of hard hats?

3 tubes of sealant?

Smaller tradesmen?

I think they were only made for BT.

I've only ever seen BT or ex BT Ka vans Around that time I went to the commercial vehicle show at the became the Ford vans stand had a ka van.

We were looking for a new small van for work and I asked how much they were.

No one in the stand knew and they weren't in the price list.

(As it goes, we bought a second hand fiesta).

I had one of those in the early 00s, same year and everything. It was the grimmest, most miserable fucking thing and I was glad to see the back of it .
