306 diesel with lens flare.  Worth mentioning because it’s for sale in Port Talbot and it’s not exactly Barbados.

He says it’s a turbo diesel but I thought they all had an intercooler plonked on top of the engine?

When Toyota launched the hot version of the Auris, the Corolla replacement, it had a Diesel engine.  The 180bhp 2.2 litre one used elsewhere in the range.

Being a modern turbo diesel you can take it for a remap and go to 210bhp for £250.  This one is even a cheery colour.

These Lexus diesels should be a brilliant idea.  Toyota reliability, diesel economy, even rear wheel drive yet not a BMW.

And yet the reliability record is absolutely appalling, like even NSU Ro80 owners are looking smug.  A shame.

I had that happen to a Multipla (flat battery) but the doors had locked themselves, the handbrake was on and the bonnet cable had sagged. Became an impenetrable fortress and was unceremoniously dragged onto a low loader.

I had the same with a car years ago, all we did was jack it up, jump lead on the starter motor, another to chassis which have its battery power. Not always possible of course.

It's an HDi, and they only put the 90hp version in the 306, which didn't have an intercooler. They still remap nicely to 120hp or so with no issues though.

The 110hp came with a front-mounted intercooler, but was only fitted to bigger cars. Those can see 140hp with a basic map.

What's that about 125 bhp? And an auto. Don't think its got traction control, looking at the blanks on the dash.

141 might horsepower apparently. 0-60 10.5 seconds according to Parkers but that sounds extremely optimistic.

There was a member on here years ago was selling a mega low mile one of these with the 2.2 but it had the sport interior in Glasgow. I went to see it and it had been sitting ourside and had 2 inches of water in the footwells and had gone seriously mouldy inside. It was too much for me and would probably have gone to the bin as so highly undesirable.

I don't know mind you, with the lack of ozone layer there from the giant steelworks you do tend to get a slightly "warmer" climate.

I can remember driving over there years ago when the snow was quite heavy in Swansea (very rare sight) but by the time I got to Port Talbot it was snow free. Drove to Neath/Britton Ferry about 6 miles away, a foot of the stuff!!!!

Looks a good little buy that.

full spec

Sweet! Maybe I'm a people who require these types of cars. What's the next step?

if there are any people who require these types of cars then dont allow your time to waste and make a straight offer and then you can get the address to pick up

God that's so simple! I've been doing it wrong all these years.
