Shirley that's MOT exempt now anyway. Even  so,  it's gonna take balls of steel to take that on.

It will be once it's reclassified as "historic" but with something of that size and complexity it's probably better to keep doing the MoT. There's a silver one of these in Chipperfield but I've never seen it run; its owner is a Merc-licker

The 2cv FB collective think this is a scam. I’ve messaged him for more interior,  engine and chassis pics.

2CVers = nutters, Facebook = breeding ground for nutters. I'm failing to see anything scam-like about the listing. It's just an old Dyane van for auction which the bloke says is worth about £6k, which is probably about right these days. Scammers don't tend to advertise real vehicles with multiple pictures, for a start...

And that fail was 8 years ago - it's unlikely to have improved since then.

Is that one of the many ex- @Ghosty R8s?

Not me guv, never had a Flame Red one.  x16GSI auto with Slate velour is my ideal spec, although I prefer the 400 for a few reasons, including the fact that at motorway speeds in a 200 the nose starts lifting - if you get into Autobahn territory there's frightfully little grip.

I don't know whose that might have been unless it's one of the ones KruJoe had back in the day that's found its way down from Malham.

£999 is slightly strong money considering one of the sills is the wrong colour, suggesting it's had welding to an unknown standard, and the MOT history isn't the best.

I'd give about £750 for it at best.

If it was white I'd be buying it for my mum to WBOD and keep miles off her Cooper S.
