eBay tat volume 3.

Anyone looking for a TF could do worse than this little gem. Two owners from new and ridiculous attention to detail. So damn clean, too. The (soon to be removed  obviously) private plate suggests that the owner isn't short of a few bob and this is reflected in the meticulous maintenance. If I didn't have my MR2, I'd be calling the fella I reckon.

Lovely.

It's that time again, where I post up cars that'd tempt me for if I was to move to North-West Oregon, using my real budget of $10k!

So let's get it out the way, the obligatory panther platform car!

This being the most expensive one I've featured but also the best condition and most OPA in spec! (Beige on beige Mercury with wood trim!)
At $8,000 it's fantastic, but not sure I could realistically getaway with it!

Next up is the sensible choice...

00606_iaoZVtpXjZtz_0WQ0I8_1200x900.jpg

A '92 Corolla All-Trac! It's clocked 227k miles and looks to be in good condition for that age of car in Oregon. (No MOT's and by the coast Yo!) AWD and an estate with old skool Toyota reliability and no doubt easy to work on.

At £2,700 it's also an price for what you get. As I said, it's the sensible option.

Now for the newest car I've featured

00s0s_bIN6UEnH4qKz_0CI0t2_1200x900.jpg

A Lincoln MKZ! Essentially the 'upmarket' Ford Fusion of the time. It looks nice enough other than where it looks like by the NSR door has been kicked/attempted break in, some lacquer on the rear bumper and the gash wheels. I really rate it personally and the added cherry of it being AWD!

At $4,999 it seems a little too good to be true having seen the prices of Ford Fusions of the same age, but could be a real genuine gem?

The "An Car" pick...

00v0v_6n3SLdmowQVz_0kE0a2_1200x900.jpg

It's a 1.9 auto that gets you from A-B and looks to be in good nick.
For $2,995 What more car I say?

And finally, the "I shouldn't but I should"...

00x0x_7Nao0QWd9Ptz_0CI0t2_1200x900.jpg

A '75 Eldorado Coupe! A little rough around the edges but hot damm look at it!

And for only $4500! I think the 'Heart over head' choice would be too strong on this!

Has he got through a set of rear tires in 5000 miles? I need to try harder.

It's going to need 4 new tyres. T1Rs are not only old now, but IMHO they're dangerous on a RWD lightweight sports car in the damp.

Ask me how I know.

£2395. Is this not a bit steep for a car that could still need a bit of work?

Again, looks a little steep for a car that needs a complete respray. I suppose it might interest some specialist collectors who want a nice low mileage car.

Despite having the Honda engine, the 220 (and turbo) were the ones to have as they had the T series (rather than the K series)

I am currently looking for an estate car and think a Mercedes E320 is the best modern* option.

This however is very tempting and looks fantastic from a time when Volvo made great cars:

That is close to the ultimate estate car,  not sure about the high tide mark, dodgy spots and badly painted wheels though, but all relatively easy to sort.

If I get a big win on the premium bonds this would be ideal transport for the dog, if not we will have to keep looking for a Mercedes.

This all day long. They’re ten a penny at the moment. Lots of spares, lots of knowledge, lots of luxury comfort right there. After owning an 89 and sorely miss it, I’ve a hankering for one that shape now….
