It's been a while since I dipped my toes in this thread (my return has nothing* whatsoever to do with having an empty parking bay) so apologies if this has appeared before.

Rather lovely little thing this, I thought, esp with 11K on the clock - giffer-matic-orangepogweasel-tastic

This looks well, only £620 so far, no reserve. But look at that fucking monstrosity in the background!!!

I thought you were being a little harsh until I opened the advert and can see what you mean now:

Sure, many vehicles are MoT exempt. However is it still an offence to drive an unroadworthy vehicle, regardless of if it is exempt?

Yes it is, but it is highly debatable whether a crack in the windscreen would render a vehicle unroadworthy.  Unless it's completely spidered right in front of the driver obvs.

Image 1 - BENTLEY TURBO R

What makes me laugh about this is how the seller has deliberately taken pictures from angles that show off the rest of his admirable* car collection. It's a common theme through his other ads as well, (except one which has a Transit van, which, frankly, I'd much rather drive than anything else he owns...).

How vain and poser-y can one person get?!

Autoshite legal advice question.

Chop the roof off and you don't need a windscreen so Biggles glasses and a flying helmet will do.

Poss a good place to ask - does anybody have a classic auctions calendar? I have ACA and Manor Park in the diary over the next few weeks, but there must be loads of others.

Usual suspects at the moment, and who knows if any of the 'event' sales are going to happen, but...

Isn't that colour Silver Fox? I seem to recall that finish invented lacquer peel in its day. The vinyl roof covering was essential to hide it – the roof seemed to be the worst affected area.

Probably why it was hidden away 38 years ago.

For just £695, you can own this professional* quality device, which absolutely isn't just a taxi sawn roughly in half with a jigsaw and a towing hitch bolted to the end. Never mind the fact you could buy a whole one for that with change.
