Those escorts were prone to the fan thermoswitch failing. You used to be able on the CVH ones to bypass the switch and by unplugging some of the wiring so the fan ran constantly. Conrad D. Conelrad
Quote Ford escort 1.1 BASE Quote With only one former keeper Quote Rare chance to buy a low ownership ford escort. I'd actually prefer if it had more owners, if they were the type who didn't lose the interior. Quote SORRY NO OFFERS ON THE PRICE .If we don ,t get the asking price we will be getting it running and maybe putting a bigger engine and lowering the car then it will be a lot more money . good plan, get it running and then replace the engine. It's four grand, btw Quote The ignition barrell was taken off and we have had a key cut for it and even the locksmith said he has never seen an unworn lock this old especially a ford The guy in Timpsons was very complimentary about my 90s Pulsar while selling me a £15 strap for it. Iv certainly heard of the Renault 8 before but I dont think iv ever seen a picture of one, or certainly not one that shows off its funky front end quite as well as this listing does! almost reminds me of the Modern Electric Citroen Ami in some ways bonus points for the genuine period Middlesex A suffix registration (I wonder how many people think its a re-registration plate, when actually its not) tooSavvy
