Austat
Continuing the American theme, I found this '76 Lincoln for around 5 bags. What's surprising is that this car is in Japan. It's currently in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture which is right next to Tokyo, which seems like the most challenging place to own one of these. Very much a car for the adventurous type. https://yahoo.aleado.com/lot?auctionID=v791016047 danthecapriman, eddyramrod, LightBulbFun and 4 others

[/LightBulbFun] indeed thats a replacement plate for a suffix-less plate from before they gave proper age related plates to Pre 1963 vehicles robbed of their original plate, so its already been robbed of its plate once before! however being a suffix replacement registration it is most likely transferable if someone wanted to do (however the resulting 3 number 3 letter age related plate it would get to replace AAL999A wont be transferable, xxxXVP is the current 1953-1962 age related plate series issued at time of writing for those curious) AFAIK only replacement english non suffix/prefix, Q Prefix and QNIxxxx registration marks are non transferable everything else is transferable, no matter how many times you rob something of its plate its always fun when I come across a Moped belonging to some personalised plate company and it has a few hundred previous registration marks R1152

Yep! easy and cheap to tax and get through an MOT too I imagine is one of the other factors for using em someone of them even used a Northern Ireland AC Model 70 to generate themselves some cheap ageless plates (which is how I initially found about this practice LOL!) I thought this specific tool would only show the last 10 previous registration numbers of a vehicle but I was just double checking that with a known registration mule moped and erm nope it will display more then 10! (so thats good, that tells me WOI4001 is indeed likely that Model 70's original number) and here is said Moped LOL (and this is only some of them, I have another tool which tells me its had 158 total registration marks LOL but that one does not work for NI vehicles so I cant use it to double verify the above Model 70 sadly) Wilko220, richardmorris, wuvvum and 6 others 5 1 2

SiC
I like this a lot. Not a bad price for a dealer I suppose but still on the high end even for these after price hikes. At least for me and my budget. But then classic dealers aren't usually in a rush to sell and price accordingly to get top dollar.
