How is that worth 2.5K?

Even the most cut price funeral directors would want something a little more up market and whitby goth is cancelled.

Does remind me of the time I was dating a goth girl and was invited to accompany her and her friends to whitby goth  weekend in a converted hearse.

Got to the pickup point to find plastic garden chairs screwed to the floor and a CRT tv glued (yes really glued) in to provide entertainment - I refused telling all that thing is a death trap and police magnet, got accused of being 'negative and disruptive' by the despondent driver/creator.  In the end followed them up in my car with girlfriend sulking all weekend due to be me being apparently awkward.

Annoyingly the shed was driven around for a couple of years with no agro from the police and me being accused of jealousy by the creator - what he did about MOT's I dont know

Didn't even know these were sold in the UK, I really dislike it when people put those shortened number plates on UK cars, it is really annoying

Here it was a decade ago. Lots of welding since according to MOT history. I think it still looks lovely as it sits.

They seem to have a few ads up, all £500. Here's a similarly sad Aggro. Check out the rows of prime Autoshite in the background.

When If it was mine, the badges and aerial would have to go. Not sure about the overriders.
“Automatic” badge from a mini! How many fonts does one bootlid need?

I wonder if the self levelling works?

I remember quite a few tracks around 30 years ago, they were great fun but I think they were banned for being too dangerous. They would only go around corners by leaning and getting them on two wheels. My first go was a track at Ford Fair, on the first corner I turned the handlebars and went straight on through the barrier. Once I realised you had to get them on two wheels it was great fun. It must have been 1988 as I tried the course where you keep a tennis ball in the bowl on the bonnet of a brand new green Sierra GLS!

I also went on a trike in France where it tipped over backwards as I went up a steep hill, they are fun but dangerous in the wrong hands.

I had a friend who raced them before they got banned in the early 90s. I had a go on his hill farm in County Durham, with a pretty similar experience to yours - once you get the hang of cornering on two wheels and counterbalancing over the side like you’re sailing a solo racing dinghy, they’re hilarious.

Until you get it wrong, anyway.

Still would, if I had a farm. Maybe.

I am really surprised those jerks that follow Bearded Mcbeard face on YT have not been there  and purchased the lot.  After all they can't understand why they are left to sit. They could purchase the land too and then hold an incestural exploration meeting live streamed of naturally.

These had a gearbox along the same lines as a C50 etc, so you just popped it into first then twisted the throttle and off you go. I think this would have had a thumb throttle to make it safer*.

I can remember just after these were launched in the UK there was a track at Home Pierpoint, (spell), in Notts, they were billed as 'moon buggies' and were the smaller 70cc version, kids were falling off them left right and centre, I had a reasonable idea of how to ride a motorbike at about 11 but these were like deathtraps !

I was once offshore with an old boy who loved these and had several. Used to ride them in the dunes north of Aberdeen. Even he would admit they had their moments and that's why the US essentially banned them.

I know this was from the last days of BMC/beginnings of BL, but really, did they have to make it so damn ugly?  That has to be a major reason why they failed to sell.  And yet now look, every car in every category is at least as gopping.  And people buy them!

All that said, this one is absolutely the spec I would choose if I couldn't have a Ford Zodiac Executive, Vauxhall Viscount, Opel Commodore, Rover P5B... or if my newly-introduced XJ6 was delayed, as so many were.

I don't find them particularly ugly, but I reckon the main reason it failed to sell was that by the time it came out it was selling alongside vehicles such as the BMW E3, Mercedes W114 and Volvo 164, which made the Landlobster look like a car from another generation.

Bizarrely the advert seems to suggest it will be fixed* in a couple of weeks?

A quick check suggests a non fucked example is only about 10% more expensive.

Absolutely beautiful, and the best colour. These are great, although you're right about the sunroof.

Apart from the obvious fail of a manual gearbox, this lash-up is rather appealing. Those things on the headlights and the bonnet straps would have to go but otherwise it looks ready for my world.
