Not a V12 though! Found it quite interesting watching his restoration video on his. Both his Lancia and the Jag are surprisingly crusty close up! Makes me feel better that I've bought cars with more rust than expected, given he's should be well experienced in classic car buying.

car drives well rough but original patina.....

Play guess where the punctuation should be...

Car drives well rough.

Or

Rough but original patina...

Guess whether it has got an mot as well as it makes no mention of it... 🤔🤔🤔

...and presumably the auction will be withdrawn if he doesn't get his three grand?

Problem is that there are probably people waiting to bid at the last moment. And he will panic too soon.

This is beautiful and is on only 18,000 miles. Looks like a one family owned vehicle too although the seller's other items are weird AF. 6k but the price looks right in a way.

Apocalypse camper project?

6 wheels, 4 speeds, 2 pedals. Not sure if it is the 2.4 VW 6 cylinder or the 2.5 VW 5 cylinder.

Or if you don't like white and/or air-springs

OK, so these are well out of my league then. Shame.

Quote “Classic R100 with recent fire damage. Would make starting point for long term project or breaking for rare spares. Engine, frame, exhausts, tank damaged but look repairable. Gold, £395”

How bad can it be? The right hand side looks OK in this pic, so the damage must be on the other side. Right?

....

.....

Yep, the damage is on the lefthand side. Should be some good spares there then.

All joking aside, I'd be gutted if that was my R100RS. ☹️
