It's a 1.4 CL auto.  But...

Carbon Fiber Roof

!!

Fiber  indeed.  He's fucking lying.

I think he probably means "textured vinyl film covered"  roof

May be an image of outdoors

Absolutely bloody glorious.  I have no idea

1.  How I'd move it (no axles, no motor)

2. What I'd use it for

3. What it's worth (£123456)

But it looks amazing and looks like it ought to be useful for something.  Perhaps as a garage for a Mini?!

Always interesting to see one of your own former cars for sale.

In my ownership:

Poor thing does not look to have fared very well. Although the current asking price is a fraction of what its respray alone cost a few years back!

At about £1700 in real money, this must be a good buy, assuming it runs and drives.

I’m sorely tempted by this, especially as it’s got 11 months MOT that the seller doesn’t mention, if it wasn’t for that pesky lockdown...

I'm sure buying a car counts as a reason to go out - dealerships are still doing click and collect, after all. :D GIFB, you know it makes sense.

This looks great, nice colour and just the right condition, looks like it would in the mid seventies. Currently cheap.

I just spotted what is across the road also, a great picture.

I find this very, very tempting.  Base spec, big miles, cheap price, looks like a dodgy dealer.

Are you sure, have you driven one of the horrid things? More Cortina than Mondeo, and not in a good way.

I have driven several Mondeo’s, mk1’s, 2’s, 3’s and 4, I have driven mostly mk5 and 4 Cortina’s and whilst Mondeo’s are ok I would much prefer a Cortina. I have not driven a 1 series BMW but on the fact they are RWD I would expect them to drive better than the average modern car.

That's the find of the month, no danger.

I can't speak from experience, but looking at the amount of absolutely fucked (through inherent faults and champagne dreams/lemonade money owners) I honestly think there must be more knackered ones than good ones left.
