Unsure if this one looks less inviting because of the colour...

As you're undoubtedly aware, me and my groin very much enjoy bland saloon cars of japanese origin, so this tickled my fancy (and undercarriage) greatly.

£1395 which - whilst expensive - will probably sell around a grand and do someone very nicely.

What I don't like is seeing that red gravy boat whilst the rev counter is sat at a solid 1000 rpm.

Let us all hope he's not been a dipstick and has checked the dipstick.  Although, obviously, this is the famous 3SFE engine so would still run with an empty sump, fuel tank and drivers seat.

In summary: cracking arse, wonderful scandi-wood* dash surround, WLTM.

What species of fucking wood is that round the radio and blowers supposed to emulate?

Late 90s Vulvas had something similar - I saw it once in a 960 (I think).

The Queen farting wouldn't look more out of place, which is why I'm such a big fan. (Of the wood, the Queen and farting)

Goes on in the ad about SAD people talking about cars then wants you to trust him because he's an OAP.

The 2 or 3 cars I've ever bought from giffers have inevitably had several undisclosed faults, been a royal pain in the arse to even view and also a complete nightmare to sort paperwork on as they seem to insist on filling it in for you.

I've been to some of the roughest places every to buy a car and seldom been caught out plus the sellers have usually been sound as a pound.

Guess we all have different experiences.

V6 powaaaar for not a lot of cash. Another "wish I had room" moment... I seem to get those a lot. :D

A few lads in Ford had these back in the day when they were new and really rated them. I believe they went OK top end as well but were a tad thirsty.

Tis a cracker that but the oil lamp would indeed trouble me as well as you just don't know and truthfully it's right at the top of the price range for one.

Could be a dicky sensor but why doesn't the seller just change it and been done?

The tautology alone in "OAP Pensioner" is sufficient, in my opinion, for the death sentence to be instructed.

Part of me really likes this.

Another part of me thinks it's trying a bit too hard to be one of those faux-pocalypse vehicles, although at least this one is actually 4wd.

Yet another part of me really hopes that's just mud on the sills, especially given it's got an MOT.

The remaining bits of me are confused as to why there's a Micra badge on the grille.

Bit of cheap offroad shite?  Disco 1 with MOT for less than a grand... although the MOT is by the skin of its teeth if its last advisory sheet is anything to go by.

Add up how much you've spent on old nails over the last year, and you could almost certainly have bought this wonderful motor car.  Jesus Christ - LOOK IT!

And the money shot...

That's a full house for me.  Mora Metallic, 728i for usability, well written advert from someone who's clearly got the money to both buy AND maintain a car like this and a fat old service file.

Sadly, I'm too far in with my old nails.  But you should think seriously about this.

Heh, same sat nav as my Rover 75!

A mate had an E38 728i about ten years ago - that was a lovely thing to drive.  Not fast but wonderfully wafty, and not that bad on fuel.  His was an earlier model though with a proper handbrake.
