Had  one exactly like that out of the car auctions years ago. It must have been badly bodged or in a flood or something, as the electrics were completely haywire. IIRC, putting the wipers on sounded the horn and using the indicators made the dash board light up like a disco in a 1970's oil refinery control panel.

To be fair, I’d want it gone ASAP too.

I should get a V12 while they are still reasonably priced, the white series 1 was more the price I am happy with but if I had more room I would consider splashing out on this series 2, it looks good value and the interior is fantastic:

Worth reading the description,

Why would one replace the 'oil tank' on one of these, is it a common fault? Other than that pesky cat wire Mot fail isn't too* bad!?

BOOM!

I think this is in Lymm in Cheshire, dangerously close to the M56 and M6.

'Restoration project. I used this around 13-14 years ago, it had a pick-up body on it. The body was fitted to a Nissan Urvan several years ago, so this is now a bare chassis-cab. It`s a 1.7 petrol, it ran when the mot expired. I tried to start it 2 or 3 years later, it wouldn`t start, and it`s been left since then, The cab is rough. The chassis seems very good. Ideal for restoring as a pick-up or even a luton, or a great source of spares. At least 1 tyre is flat, and I haven`t checked if any brakes are seized. Collection from WA13 which is about 10 miles south of Manchester.'

The second I saw this I thought of Frank Drebin clattering into some trash cans. I know it's not the right car but still.

I'm glad he assures us it's legitimate chinook paint. One of the biggest problems I face with buying cars is illegitimate chinook paint.

The number of times I've accidentally bought a car with Chen Huq knockoff paint, I can count on no hands.

I mean, colour aside, it's essentially the same approach as BL took with the Vanden Plas Allegro...

Yeah it's a 73 Plymouth Satellite in Police Squad he also has some newer Fords.

I had to do a double take to see if the white Mercury wasn't mine in this pic.

I like this random photo being included in the advert with absolutely no explanation as to relevance...... I refuse to accept these trophies have anything to do with the car!
