Flippin' heck, a Justy van?! I think this is the last one I saw, back at the end of 2006. Failed an MoT in 2008 and looks to have been scrapped.

I could plate rape that then sell as is for much the same therefore getting a free numberplate, of course IF I actually had anything newer than 55 that I use frequently as she won't have that on the merc, which she largely drives.

Plus that's proper man maths, buy a £500 shitter just for the £300 plate but spend a day of my time and effort to go and get it, £125 to transfer /retain, probably another £100 in fuel and end up selling it for £300 as major borkage/lack of space/interest occurs.

Total cost £500+125+100= £725-300=£425 therefore, a shed load of hassle and £125 out of pocket for a plate I'll never use.

Or worse still, it gets home OK, then I start feeling sorry for it, do a few jobs, realise I quite like it but heaven forbid I can't let any of my others go, just incase, therfore spending EVEN MORE MONEY on it but hey at least I kept the plate. Run until the next mot when it fails on sills, spend 2 months welding it up all to have a belt fail or gearbox, end up scrapping it and going through the above to get the plates back again.

Repeat etc etc.

Train tickets booked and so on.
