Big liability,  parts/running costs extortionate, and you’d need deep pockets and balls of steel to own one, but I can’t see these getting much cheaper

Different pictures but I posted this a few months ago. No MoT then either. "never mind that, look what's on the drive" Previous pictures had that Lagonda on the drive a couple of houses away. It's on the opposite side of the road now.

As long as you're talking Burundi Francs or magic beans then that seems fair enough.

Advert says: "Kawasaki 550",

DVLA says : A501LVC RELIANT RIALTO VAN Colour Blue  Fuel type Petrol

Date registered 16 April 1984     MOT expired on 20 July 2007

BUT Cylinder capacity = 553cc

Hmmmm

This perfectly sane individual is thinning his collection of Marinas, a little. Strange ad, listing about 6 of em for £27,500, but on reading the ad, they are available separately. Prices seem a bit salty, but then what do I know of Marinas ?

Horribly disfigured donk convertible? Sure

Roadmaster Sedan? Definitely not, there's at least one in the country that wasn't owned by a maniac.

I also love the stick on Buick port holes claiming that this only has a V6. The guy who built this is failing pretty hard at showing off.

Didn’t spot a Lagonda but there’s another Mulsanne/Spirit across the road. Still, I’m sure* none of the parts have been swapped off this one to make that one better. Nobody would do that, would they?

Listing’s ended now anyway.

I had one just the same in 1982! Cost me a whole £75 back then.  These days £3K isn't out of the way I suppose.  HWM 916F will be long gone now of course.

"Sir Stirling Moss owned the vehicle from 1983 to 1986. In correspondence he informed us he recollects taking the van to the race tracks when his son was younger, giving him somewhere to play. He also travelled in it to Monte Carlo."

This looks interesting, I wonder if it is  kit or one off build in someone’s shed. I like it but not enough to bid 😀

If anyone here does buy it, I would pay to have a go in it. Looks a great alternative to a beach buggy.

I fancied a beach buggy years ago but didn’t want the VW running gear, ended up with a moke, it was great fun but  they are way overpriced now. This looks great though.

It looks like the Pink Panther's bin wagon.
