eBay tat volume 3.

Poor Minor needs love. As previously discussed, “bumperless” look is hard to get right on Minors.

Under the bonnet, however, is easy to perfect something this simple. So no excuse for this mess.

And as for inside...

Yeah to do it properly you need a 2-door  Audi 80 shell (which as you say is rare enough in its own right) for the upright screen and door apertures and a Coupe shell for the rear end. You also need to be very creative in the floorpan department as it’s not just a case of chopping a foot out behind the B pillars. They don’t narrow the shell though - why would they, most of them end up a foot wider by the time the box arches are glued on!

always wondered if it was my aging brain mixing stuff up.  Could not be bothered to look it up again as I will never have the money to do it.....

Check out this little dinger - when did you last see one?

€13k though!

He bought that at auction in July for just over £3000. I know this as I was live bidding! Magically it appeared a month later fs in Ireland at the price that is still advertised, it's been on CaC for ages. The original owner in Yorkshire tried to flog it on the CRX forum years ago for 5k, and it went nowhere. The ceiling advertised price for these is currently 8k for a better example (on one of the whitewall dealers - don't know how much it actually sold for), so this cunt really is your archetypal dreamer/flipper who can't even be arsed to fix the tiny things wrong with it.

Er, that's not a 2CV.  Which I suppose proves your point!

Sorry, I'm illiterate and registered blind, so can only go on what the dog tells me.

🤪

To be fair, the red 'un in the background is a 2CV, maybe that's the one the dog was talking about...

My mate had one of these when we were 17, a Vtec one. It seemed out of this world quick back then- I’ll never forget the first time he floored it and the revs just seemed to go on forever. Something inside me changed that day.

Same for when a friend drove us around in his old 90s Civic VTI, razzing it around town at 8000rpm with 3 of us in the back. Insane.

In lighter news, the BXClub bicycle is back for sale again.

Reminds me of a guy I used to work with,

refused to wear overalls or gloves never used to wash his hands, he would drive from job to job and get filthier and filthier as the day went on (hydraulic hose fitters dirty work) his van was absolutely rancid there was that much dirt on the seats and trim that small plants were growing in the seams  🤢

IT'S BACK AGAIN!!!!!!!!! £5500, no bids. £3800, no bids. So... £4000 must be right?! Now with touched up photos which appears to be just upping the gamma correction... good luck with the flip pal.

With the best will in the world it’s a 177k BX needing work. How is it worth £2500? I couldn’t sell one here in good condition with no work for £600 12 months ago.

Perhaps there's an obscure VOSA rule that states if a car is shiny enough, it automatically gets an MOT?

Would certainly explain some of the highly-polished rotboxes I've seen with 12 months' ticket...
