To be fair, I would love to facilitate a System FMEcA, a Fault tree analysis, and a safety critically review of a twin engined car.

I'm sure we could make it safe.

I remember being at Santa Pod was it 2004 ? Or 2005 ? For Performance Vauxhall show.  Regal had a twin LET engined nova with 400 bhp at each end, and 2 six speed gearboxes.  I assumed it was road legal.

Anyways up.

Halfway down the home straight, one of the gearboxes failed to change up and it only managed to do the 1/4 mile in about 16 seconds instead of 8. The driver spent at least 10 seconds taking it into neutral and trying again.  It would seem that the complex mechanical linkage needed tweaking.

Thinking about that now, I think robotising one of the boxes, would be a solution.

Or having an automatic box in the rear, which just does its own thing.

Pah! What you want is a rust riddled Gaz with THREE engines, in a V (or is it a Y) configuration, all connected to each other by two belts each.

And yes, the inevitable happens...

It also looks like it's wearing black eyeliner, as if it's going through a phase. Is it about to paint the inside of its garage black and play Slipknot for hours at a time in there?

I must be getting old as I've started looking at these and finding them appealing.

many get stripped or not looked after this is the most complete vw i have come across

externally the van looks worse than it is it is

I don't think there is a single panel that isn't rusty. Even the interior looks rusty.

I suppose that's one up side to a no deal Brexit - these wacky* "charidee rallies" will become a thing of the past when the bureaucracy becomes too much hassle.

I like this so much. The best-looking postwar Ford by a long shot. So strange that it hasn't sold at this price, but then I guess you can't put bubble arches and Minilites on it

All the best cars are imported from Sweden.

I reckon, the space that 1 lift takes up is worth about £200 a month in the Midlands. Based on a mate who rents a workshop with 2 ramps, a pit and space for another couple of ramps, plus office and storage and toilet. Who pays £700.

So let's say just say that the price isn't designed for full occupancy is it?

You know how barbers rent chairs out? I think you'd need to agree a more Long term price. Say £200 a  month plus insurance and share of utility bills would be more like are it.
