In the 80s, following a run of easily fixupable and profitable Fiat's, I made the mistake of picking up a Zastava Yugo at the auction.  I've never, before or since experienced such terrible quality in every single part of a vehicle.

You make that sound like a bad thing ?

This Rover 45 1.6 Impression makes a good, errrr....impression if genuine.

s-l1600.jpg

25k miles, realistic starting price, MOT til 22 Nov 21 and a FSH.

It does have a rogue engine light.

Impressive

sensor on the main control box which was a common fault.

Would that be the ECU? If so that's not an easy fix is it?

"EO" is a Barrow combination , which sits well with Furness MoT Centre on the bonnet!  I don't know exactly where that is but I'll have a look when I'm out and about.

Triumph Herald 12/50 | eBay

'Any questions...'

Just one: Why is your neighbour wiping her car window with a chimpanzee's arse?

Ooooh a proper 12/50!  For anyone who doesn't know what that means, it's the 1200 engine, which was  actually 1147cc, tuned up over the base spec to give a whopping 50bhp.  That was a lot in 1963!  My L plates were on our family Herald in 77/78, a car that had cost £11 two years before.  I'm glad to see an example of the exact model surviving.

I'm rapidly becoming a fan of Facebook Marketplace; it seems that all the truly random tat is turning up there as opposed to eBay these days. Certainly looks that way to me, anyway. Some of it is genuinely wonderful, and some of it is several light years past the edge of the fucking solar system, like this thing:
