willswitchengage
What type of petrol would that AMC run on? European unleaded? I know older American cars had ridiculously low compression ratios requiring RONs only in the 80s.

willswitchengage
This looks depressing and is VERY rusty, however it has a warm ad and the seller sounds perfectly genuine and reasonable. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1988-Honda-Civic-GL-Sedan-4-door-saloon-Spares-or-repair-one-family-owned/303788600035?hash=item46bb362ae3:g:srcAAOSww0tfw8cK clayts450, 500tops, Schaefft and 2 others

AKI is under 90 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating So is 87 (the lowest I've seen over there).. 91/92? Or 95? In a lot of Asia 91/92 is 'regular' with 95 being tricky to find in places. In a lot of the CIS you can still buy 80... it's very cheap!

Yeah, that's about right. 91 RON I have seen 86 in high altitude counties in New Mexico and Colorado but most places regular is 87. They will all run happily on higher grades though, in fact people waste millions each year buying higher grades of fuel with the idea will give better performance. wuvvum
Diesel Felicia going cheap. These were never a huge seller as they have the old 1.9 indirect injection VW engine which isn't that much more economical than the 1.3 petrol.
