This is 100% shite for here. A very early, BASE spec, miserable engine, what more could you possibly want! I’d forgotten that they even did a 2.3 N/A in the Mk3 carlton. I remember when my last 2.3TDs turbo failed and I drove it for months with no boost at all. It was horrendously slow. Perfect!

I got excited but that's a wreck. Failed MOT twice in 2016 on various serious things (LOTS of structural rust, unsurprisingly) and hasn't been submitted since. I doubt any of it has got better in the last four years.....

A rotten, badly running, old fashioned pile of wank that's dangerous to drive.  And a Subaru Justy.

Looks like it has been ‘carefully’ *stored for several years

Saloons are the best looking, I had a 1.8 LX which I sold in 1997 with 135,000 miles on, this is barely run in.

A quick run down to the local hand car wash and it will be like new* oh, and bin the offensive wheel trims.

I had a look at the history too, and yes failed twice on structural rot lol. What were they expecting? That they’d miss it second time round lol.

I know, it's not like it was a marginal one like emissions!

That second fail makes me think it's much worse than the MOT history makes it look

A K reg 1.6. Original optional CD changer!

£550 😲

Very early though - registration date is 25/3/93 - a few days after mine was built. It's one of the earliest left, shame it is in such a state. RIP little solja.
