'It is surprising how cars I would never of looked twice at now look so attractive. I suppose it is a reflection of how grim new cars are.'

What a great sentiment from @Shite Ron, almost like an AS motto.

Truth!  From both of you in fact.  Absolute Truth.

I'm finding myself casting strangely hungry looks at that blue Triumph above; a model I've always managed to ignore until now.

Hopefully you've all long since had your tea now, as you'll be throwing the fucker back up in a moment...

And really don't look at the interior.

This very late Vauxhall VX looks rather tasty. It's in one of my favourite colours too.

Current bidding up to £5.3k.

I'm sure that belonged to someone I know. If so the number plate has changed, it used to be YAP37T? He was paid quite alot to drive it down to Luton VHC for a mag shoot. I think it was the last one registered or latest one left, something significant anyway.

He had a few old Vauxhalls inculding a absoulty mint PA Cresta.

LOL! I remember that car form work.

The owner wouldn't cough up for a full set of matching gauges to convert km/h to MPH with the silver ring design. Then settled for a full set of Skoda Fabia dial faces that had the correct speed scale and only fitted the speedo.

That is lovely and I really  like a tan vinyl roof. The ridiculous number plates and whitewall tyres must knock a couple of grand off it’s real value. With proper number plates and tyres it would be really beautiful.

Non turbo as well, absolutley class

I like that, 9000s are getting scarce. What are those two orange strips running above and alongside the rear number plate? Not seen that before.

That’s great as it’s a real poverty spec example and have never seen one with unpainted plastic bumpers and mirrors before and love that 90s blaupunkt and I’ve never seen on without a sunroof or air con.

Heres another auto on EBay at the moment and this is the upmarket Ti Auto with the M44 and seems seriously cheap for a Ti with low mileage.

I had a 1.6 base saloon and it was so grim, barely pulled itself along, drove well for 250k miles but painfully slow.

Would that be an injection or carburettor model? 100% this gets flipped within the next 7 days

A girl in school with me had one of those in burgandy, one of those girls you never looked at in school but when she left you thought "she's quite nice actually".
