This is such a good deal for what is basically a guaranteed future classic with super low miles. These Pike cars are just something else from the best era of Japanese cars.

And so ahead of the Europeans in terms of styling trends - Rover 75? Jag S type? the Japanese were doing post-modern cars a decade earlier.

Current problem is a leak below the windscreen seal, the windscreen needs to be removed to enable welding scuttle needs a good wobbing up to repair.

EFA. Wood though, because fake wood though.

Along with the real wood.

I would love to catch a 'case of Sherpes'* in the back of that Leyland! I reckon, despite appearances, that it's probably been better cared for than most and it's not really much money in the scheme of things. If I came home with that I would definitely be living in it, though

Be a bit like @PhilA, only greener and more bASe. 1952 Chevy

Essentially the same body as mine, just the rear and front wings, boot and trunk, with the chrome pieces. And a Chevy six engine and three-on-the-tree.

So much of that is GM parts-bin, it's funny to see.

Just drive it around and claim your vehicle is very green for the environment.

Check out this cutie, early SWB frontera with the 2.0 SOHC pez engine, I'd look like a right tit in this but I still like it

****EDIT: Its only just occurred to me after all these years that these are just one of those Bedford Brava pick-ups with a different arse end on them****

Oh!!!!! Look at this beauty!!!! I used to think these were WELL EXOTIC. Well nowadays a 2.0 pinto-engined TVR wedge gives me a much bigger cream horn than a Ferrari or whatever so it looks like the 8 yr-old me was right. HAWT!!!

This looks like a right old heap but if (like me) you like mingebag motoring, I dont think you can get a more miserable power plant than the old 1.6D engine in these. £600 in portsmouth

Fairway FX4 with the ubiquitous Nissan dizzler, not bad looking for a bag.

Immaculate interior. :D

do love an FX4 :) did not realise a usable one could be had for less then a grand these days figured they would all be more then that, but to be fair I have not been actively looking/checking

This is one of the times im really quite grumpy with the ULEZ zone

as I would love to have a fling with one of these while one still can ie before the prices for one thats usable leave the  shite-o-sphere, but I cant cuz of ULEZ sadly
