These are great cars but are they making two grand in this condition yet?

Fair play to the seller for what seems an honest description and pictures.

Not in that nick they aren’t!! I just sold my pretty damn clean 940 2.3 HPT manual estate for that much.

These old Volvos are all on the up though, 240 estates are getting particularly dear...

Really fancy this, looks in good nick baring the lacquer peel, MOT history is decent. 618’s are cheap as chips but is that an ok price for a 620Ti?

It’s a couple of hours away from me and I’d have to sell the E39 first so if anyone is close by and wouldn’t mind checking it over I’d be very grateful!

Its just down the road from me but I can't leave the house till the weekend, I could possibly have a look on Saturday for you.

Cheers man I’ll let you know, I’ve sent an offer of £1250 to the seller which might be a tad low ball as he’s read it and not replied.

'Dear diary, today has been hellish. Not only does one have wankers cramp from painting wonky stars on things, but there's a giant knob over my head, I've been forced to wear a German badge by my iPod aural telephonic listening devices and to cap it all, some back-and-front has stuck an RAF 'target' over my left tit. Fuck this for a caper, I'm going stick some Eminem on and get blazed. L8RZ'

Back in the Day, I had a few conversations with an applications engineering manager at Garrett.

Once he said.  Yeah hybrid Turbos.  Big compressor wheel, small turbine wheel, high boost, lots of fuel.  Yeah. You can get lots of power.  Not for long.

Which is why we generally don't bother, as most customers ( car companies)  want us to prove they can run at full boost for 1000000 miles not 10.

I don't know why people think they know better than the experts.

Just look at this beauty, there is a lot going on here.

French - Check

Obscure - Check

Parts availability - nil

Unnecessarily weird and possibly dangerous coupling mechanism giving 2 vehicles for the price of one - Check

Also "Majority of bodywork as good as new" but of course "Restoration needs completion" - Hmmmmm
