Project for a Savvy Person

If only we knew one of those...

"Faults" are fuck all, the steering will probably* be bushes, the handbrake - TADTS and can be resolved by buying a manual adjustment kit off ebay for about £10, and I've got a set of RIMZ with decent tyres that I'll take £200 for.

Mercifully uncut wheelarches, and I even like the wheels. Bet this goes like shit off the proverbial. 100 per cent WOULD ROLL. I reckon I'd not even paint it, actually. A bargain £2900 at present.

I knew of those, but didn't know there were turbo ones. That would be hilarious, I bet it shifts!

For all the talk of Ford Scene Tax, this doesn’t seem expensive. It’s not a 2.0 S though, it’s a 3.0S !  South African and has to be the ultimate Cortina, although admittedly a red Mark 5 2.3 GL with the S Pack and Fishnet Recaros  , would do for me.

Those E60s are a lot like earlier BMs.  You get in one expecting it to be 'all that' and they're actually really dull.

Do you think they're dull to drive, or just some have dull bobby basic interiors?

I'd love that, have always fancied one, but not the person to look after it these days. I found one years ago when I lived in Chippenham, the bloke was selling a Gilbern 1800GT, which I didn't buy in the end because of the broken back window, but also had a dilapidated Rochdale and Elva Courier in his garden. Regret it now, but instead I bought a Series 1 Lotus 7 so it wasn't all bad.
