It's £1100 man! I'd say that's about as cheap as a project car gets for anything halfway desirable. Even something like a Mk2 Cavalier or a Skoda 130 or whatever is more expensive than that for a ropey old near-scrapper. My Palladium cost more than 10 times that and it was literally a pile of bits that hadn't been run for longer than that Chrysler has existed. Are there any other Fuselage body T&Cs in the UK? I doubt it. A quick Google reveals you'd be lucky to get change from £10,000 to get a solid '72 landed in the UK. I suspect you are not the target audience for something like this. strangeangel, eddyramrod, Volksy and 3 others 5

willswitchengage
Can't seem to post photos from Gumtree, but here you have a Mk1 Citroen BX. https://www.gumtree.com/p/citroen/1989-citroen-bx-16trs-retro-vintage-classic-car/1383968465 It's mildly pineappled and has no MOT, but looks is broadly good condition and is only £500. I'm warming to the idea of a camper (well MrsR is, which comes to the same thing) and I did always like the style of the Autosleeper. Right engine too, and even the right gearbox! Mind, those beaded seat covers would be straight in the bin! If I could afford to buy it and salt it away for a month or two I would; I'd have it delivered to a handy* welder I know in Southport. Instruction to Ken: go round it and weld absolutely everything that needs it, then spray over. Let me know when you're done. Er... but I can't, I haven't got the money. Oh well, never mind.
