@busmansholiday Er, no, not without a decent chassis under it!  Hell, that whole car probably only weighs about as much as Huggy's engine!

Meanwhile, in CF land, yes that looks nice, right engine too,,, but wrong front, it's just too young.  Also a long way too dear.

It is cheap, but from my extensive* experience of buying silver CXs with a few weeks' MOT, there's generally a reason they're being sold with only a few weeks' MOT.

Pfft, it's worth it just for the louvre. Phwoar. I particularly like the potatocam surveillance shot from a seedy hotel room in a grimy metropolis.

I bought a Sunbeam the same colour as that from an auction in 2001.  It was in better condition though, with 30K from new, and it was a runner, although it had the lowly 928cc engine.  I paid £10 for it.

That's been stuck in Dublin for a while. Current bids are nowhere near the reserve.

Were I to win the lottery (which I don't do) I would buy this however I would invest in a spare fuel pump and reinstate the Traction control.

I quote: The new engine is the 4.6 litre V8 pre-fitted from the factory with a Roush Supercharger, larger throttle body etc.
The Traction Control has been permanently disabled (a recommended mod for any supercharged 260 to avoid killing the fuel pump)...
