Yes there's a suspected boost leak but how much of a bargain is this?! I always thought it was a crying shame that they had to detune these to prevent the gearbox exploding. It was six years old at the time ( I saved up and bought my CB50J for cash). After a while he found a newer field bike with the disc brake and 5 speed 'box. No mudgaurds, lights a ripped seat and a buckled rear wheel. He took all the bits needed from the H.P bike to make it road legal. Got it registered and ran that. He dismantled the rest of the H.P bike put it in the loft of his mothers council house and re-assembled it there. When the repo men came as he hadn't kept up with the payments he told them where it was and they could keep it. For all I know it is probably still there. After lots of back and forth I'd finally arranged to go and see it and was half way round the M25 when he texted me to say he couldn't actually make the appointment but I was welcome to back at another unspecified time in the future. After that I just gave up. Good luck to anyone who tries to buy it - I think its probably a really nice genuine car and not far off being usable. I used to drive one of those which i borrowed off a woman I had a bit of an illicit 'thing' going on with when I was about 18 or 19 . It was really fun to bomb around in but typically it shat its cylinder head in spectacular style while in my custody. (the friggin head had gone porous!!) Obvs I then had to quickly fix it causing considerable distress to my moth-eaten pre-student wallet and the illicit thing fizzled out shortly afterwards. Something of a life lesson in there I think, although I'm not sure i realised it at the time as you just do as you're told by your nuts when you're 19 eh.
