Hmmm... autobox?!? Nah

Small patch of rust? It's rotted through m8! Nah

Water pump changed, but not timing belt?!? Nah

Pretty sure that's a chain but whoever is watching it won't care about that. Or the gearbox. They'll be interested in the roof, with it having neither sunroof or t-tops.

Glad they mentioned the light bar in the description, it wasn't clear from the photos.

They used a completely different engine for the automatic? Weird... well, you live and learn.

Carlton 2.0i Diplomat with CDX velour upholstery replacing the original leather. Winner!

Carlton

That's the one from Anglia Car Auctions last months online only auction. It made £1370 plus whatever online fees on top.

Edited to add : wouldn't have been able to get the car until 22/06  and the ebay ad was edited on 17/07  and we are being told he's moved house and lost the V5  in that time.

I would say this flipper has got the V5 (not in his name) and when asked will bullshit that he's owned the car since 2018.

I'd love a Kei. Does anyone have any experience of driving one. An actual 660 3 pot & a CVT box on real English roads?

My Innocenti is mechanically a kei (although with a manual 'box) and I used that as a daily for about a year and a half.  They're perfectly usable, you just have to plan a bit* in advance if you want to overtake anything.

Doesn't seem that long ago you could get a running and driving A40 for £395.  :-(
