eBay tat volume 3.

Obviously nigh on £7k is mental (especially without the plate) but just look at it. I can just picture myself, arm out of the open window, Jean-Michel Jarre playing, a half smoked Gitane in my hand as I pull up to the Centre Pompidou and rip those wheel times off, jump up and down on them, and fling the remains into the Seine.

Have we had this turbodizzle 205 yet?  Looks like decent value at the moment.  Fortunately it's in Wales, otherwise I would be getting a serious case of Twitchy Bidding Finger.

That's been in my watchlist for a few days.
I won the auction and I'm hoping to pick it up this week.

It’s like someone walked into a Mercedes dealer and said “build me the 190 that the speccy Skizzer kid will want in 33 years time.”

Pity it’s not cheaper and I’ve run out of room.

Marina with 1800 B-series POWAH, £510 so far and no reserve.

Photos look like some sort of flashback scene from Silent Witness.

Only two of those statements can be true simultaneously, surely?

Apparently solid but needs recommissioning. I guess £2.5k isn’t a completely stupid price for an R4 these days, and it does say or offer.

It  looks to have similar comfort and refinement to the Forestry Commission LR I used to drive in the mid 80's!

It could be a good project for a Land Rover Licker, if its actually registered as  series Land Rover and a V5 can be obtained from DVLA.

Looking at the pictures the chassis looks solid, only missing the out riggers and  the ends of the rear cross member. All of which usually need replacing on a rebuild and are readily available at a modest cost.

The power take off has some value, its not one I've seen before as it appears to run off the front of the engine crank. The last Land Rover series pto complete assembly I saw advertised on Ebay sold for £1600.

The engine looks like the 2.2 Diesel, which was used in many 60's to 70's BMC commercials including the fantastic Austin Gypsy. However the pto is not from a Gypsy as they ran off the gear box.

I have enough series body parts to build on that and if it wasn't 120 miles away I'd possibly be interested in buying it.

Any way, here's a couple of pictures of my old Gypsy wrecker, sold about 20 years ago., note the sign writing.
