You can laugh, but a local gamekeeper has a home-made, cut-off Jimny much like this. (but older and much scruffier) It  is in constant off road use and he swears by it.  It can even get home from the pub when he is absolutely tanked. (I miss the pub!)

I think it's the asking price causing the hilarity, not the vehicle itself.

Am I right in thinking this is vaguely a Mk2 Cavalier?

Wrong engine, wrong gearbox, wrong-wheel-drive, and he hasn't even bothered to put MoT on it.  For how much???  Even I wouldn't.

G427 FKC was my leBaron convertible...

I think this is actually amazing and Love it!

It's a Delta HF Turbo, with interesting convertible conversion by H.R Owen.

No actual price, just auction guide price at £3k - 5k. And its not been on the road for a few years. And the photos seem to be scanned photos from a good while ago.

Still, I like it!

Bet you’d get a good night’s sleep in any campsite.

Alternatively, park up wherever the fuck you like — what curtain twitcher is going to come banging on the windows of this?

Surely this should get saved by some one on here.

Looks like giffer central with the Volvo and Carlton soon to be tarted up to sell. The sellers other items include two 25 years service gold watches! So get bidding for the full giffer package.

You'd be surprised. A great many people - I use the word in its widest possible sense - would love an opportunity to put a brick through the glass. Followed by a petrol bomb.
