Why bother with a fibreglass one, when there are so many real live ones available?

A real one would piss in the living room.

I'm afraid to admit I briefly considered getting it, until I saw the price. I  already have worse things in the house and I think it would look quite smart at the head of the table if I had a dinner suit made for it.

97 E430, long MOT, £1200. This seems like a bargain barge.

I would lose the mono blocks for something more discreet, but otherwise - its perfect!

I’ve just come here to post that, seems immaculate. Not much detail about respray though. I keep going on about now being the time to buy aW210, maybe I should put my money where my mouth is.

Cheaper vet bills?  Reduced stable costs?  No need for farrier house calls?  LESS POOP

You're buying a clothes horse.

Mrs. Welded cannot believe that I am now browsing Irish tat - thanks for the links to donedeal.ie chaps! Being tight as feck I started from the cheap end and found a proper nice little motor, - automatic, shite colour, ace! Only 35,000 km and €600

You'll find shite in higher engine capacities to be very cheap in Ireland.

Motor Tax is prohibitively expensive for a 2.5l for example is slightly higher than €1000pa.

Smaller older cars tend to hold onto their value even better as they're cheaper to tax.

This has been on before and is very interesting, needs a bit of work but worthwhile:

If I wanted a 4x4 would I buy it?
The answer is on the number plate.

That's nice, and close by but the description is uniquely annoying.

Plus there's an MOT advisory some time back for "perished rear tyres". How the fuck do your rear tyres last long enough to perish with a 4.3l V8?
