Knowing the purveyor of that fine motor I can assure the masses queued up to buy such a piece of testosterone inducing powwweeerrr machine that they won’t be disappointed

I'd love to, space is the issue, there's no room at Outlaw_Towers , stritcly a one-in one-out policy in operation. Cheers for the offer!

Nothing you want to get rid of? I could make a generous * offer on something to facilitate a deal ??

That P4 looks familiar, is it from this thread or did someone here ( @colc ?) own it ?  Some sort of medieval knee shredding weapon masquerading as power steering, 300 Tdi ?  I’m now thinking it’s all the dodgy modified P4s I’ve ever seen rolled into one.

Fabtastic stuff nivek!

I have never stopped for a look, your peek makes me wish I had.

I wonder if that is the very same 3dr Bluebird that was in Elliston’s scrapyard, Barnham. Can’t have been too many of them around here....

Would it have been this one you saw in that yard? I saw it in Bury, I think in the very late '90s:

Eventually I found out more about it, and it transpired that it was this very Type Approval car, I have a photo of it before it even got registered:

I like this - it seems to have been on eBay forever - but I can see why it's not gone at £6K when the yellow one above is only three grand more:

Bit crazy price-wise but hey you could kit it out as a TV detector van and drive round peering through people's front windows to see if their Bush is turned on to Coronation Street.

i so, so wanted a Mini 30 when they were new, but in 1989 i was 15 so that wasn't really going to happen.

i think they did 1000 in black and 2000 in the cherry. which i prefer if i'm honest.

i wonder if its still got its Mini book and Corgi Mini pack with it? unlikely i suppose, but i have one upstairs in a cupboard.

I’m going to say that it’s highly likely it’s the same car. It had been crashed into the field opposite the Gorse Ind. Est. by the scrapyard owner following a high speed run down the lane, I can’t remember it wearing any reg. plates when I saw it atop a stack but the colour and trim in your photos are the very same as the beaten example I saw.

The car in the woods looks like it has some dents on the C pillar, maybe obtained in an arse-over-tit foray into the Barnham countryside..??? I’m just elated to know it may have evaded fragging so far.

That Bluebird really wants saving... I wonder how fucked it actually is? I'm guessing very. There are enough common-or-garden hatchbacks out there to provide all the bits, I'd have thought, though. Shame if it makes it this far in life and ends up as bean tins.

In the general scheme of things, it's probably unique in Britain. Are there any others in existence over here?

It's on Ebay too.  Its been for sale several times at wildly different prices. Seller says mucked about by buyers but odd pricing yo-yo and for sale in two places at once. It's at £1040 on Ebay.

From what I vaguely remember from discussions when @Spottedlaurel first posted his pictures online, I think this is the only 3dr that was actually sold here. I had no idea they even existed until I saw his pictures. I'd like to think somebody has the foresight to save something unique like this.
