I've no idea how to price a mk1 Cav nowadays. They were utterly worthless about 15 years ago, just as Manta prices were starting to take off.

Several much shonkier examples than that brown one have fetched much higher prices on eBay in the last couple of years, but I suppose that without a thorough inspection for car pox, the pictures don't give you a particularly good idea of how fucked they are.

This has been in this thread before- about 5 years ago, then it was described as a Trooper, which is presumably what the logbook says.

i saw it on a trailer on the M1shortly after its appearance on here, it looked weird.

It's down as an Isuzu Bighorn. Weird thing. That body is worth ££ - it probably needs reuniting with some proper Rolls parts.

They have all manner of monitoring systems in place for sellers, most of which rely on the honesty of buyers when filling out feedback / star ratings, but it looks like buyers can do whatever they like!  As long as eBay are getting their money, I doubt they care.

They even allow the sale of vehicle V5 / log books like this, as 'memorabilia' but don't get me started on that

his attempt to hide the info on the V5 is just laughable

its registration number is UJX373X :)

just so the registration UJX373X is now in a searchable part of the internet, should anyones Escort go missing and suddenly UJX 373X appears, looking a lot like your missing one!

Is that a 5 in the back ground? He makes reference to an 11, and is also selling another 21 turbo.

Generally at least a grand less than the equivalent Cortina, I would reckon. But the low end of that auction estimate does seem ridiculously low assuming the car has a recent MoT and is not fucked.

Having said that, where is this auction again? ?

This 3-dr 2.2 manual SRi is cheap as chips and has already failed to get a single bid at £500 once, now its £250 and is still barely getting a sniff. Wanky coilover suspension fitted but it still looks decent.

The mingebag models are ace in their own right, but the snazzier model 16V ones with the seat extenders etc are a much nicer place to be.

It's all very well buying quality* ancient Mercedes, but it's probs time @wuvvum really showed us what he made of, by simply* buying this Volvo

It gets minus points for not having those 1970's 'Dymo' printer type labels by every single switch, but redeems itself for having a name that reminds of this class act..

Looks cheap but burning oil isn't good on that engine, especially if there's not much history, ask me how I know!!

Although, at that price point it could still provide a very decent mode of transport for someone.

Motor is just the right size for the car.
