Pretty sure you can run them on red for 'agriculture purposes' between places of your work.  There's only one way to find out if that includes driving it 187 miles up the M6 as you left your work's pass at your aunty's house on Friday night.

Is this true? I thought that was only the case if you are driving off-highway, hence why tractors etc have two fuel tanks.

So the brakes don't actually work then

How fast do expect to be going? I think continental drift will be faster accelerating.

However, so long as you do not intend to use red diesel to travel any further than 1.5km on public roads whilst travelling between different areas of land which are occupied by the same person. And then for purposes relating to agriculture, horticulture or forestry, this is deemed to be acceptable use by HMRC.

Reminds me of the jade green roofed houses that can be seen in the Mill Hill area.

I wonder if the seller's reserve is somewhere near ten bags?

Panic over, it has an Iv*co engine. It couldn't get to the Scottish wilderness if it started from there.

I drive it 12 miles home and confident it will go a lot further with someone responsible behind the wheel to get it home

Yes, it looks like it could probably manage 20 miles easily before snapping in half and the engine falling out onto the fucking road m8

'Always prepare your spraying area carefully. For example, make sure there's a house radiator blocking access one side, and your mum's kitchen door the other. It's also widely believed a big fuck off gap in the 'shelter' will help as the wind, rain, dust and the ceiling curtain will aid the drying process'

'Whoops! Nearly forgot to mention spilling coffee on the floor to absorb any overspray'

'Nearly there now'

'Oh, one final tip:  Don't bother masking the wind screen, save time by simply using the wipers to clear the area afterwards'

'nobody else has these colours'

I should fucking hope not.

Found some kit cars on FB Marketplace,

VW-based Sterling Nova, popular in the US:

However, if you want a Méhari alternative, try a BMC 1100-based "Ranger":

It’s a truly terrible listing.  The seller says it has a year’s MOT, but the DVLA says that the year in question was 2009.

‘Offers invited’: I’d be lowballing this, but it could be a great car after a thorough service.
