@vaughant I'm lucky to know a great painter, and he has sorted out my race bikes, road bikes and Van's over the last 10 years. He does all sorts of stuff, from a bike side panel to full blown colour change on Ferraris. He is not cheap, but you get what you pay for (even at mates rates).

He was doing some work on this last week.

Now that is gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️❤️

That looks clean. Seems that orangey colour was popular as, whenever a mk1 emerges, they always seem to be this colour. Unless it's the same car every time?

I'm not sure there's a market for an Auto s12 at £3500. Seems so odd when the vastly superior (but probably rotten) S13s use to be £700. That is 15 years ago now so who knows?

It's got those funny little Nissan headlight guards fitted. Ultimate shite would be the Scandinavian zone cars that came with pukka headlight wash/wipe systems.

When a Delboy Robin Reliant* is just too common, why not have another TV replica from another over-rated comedy*? Currently £500, an a guarantee that you'll get to cop a feel of Emily Atack's funbags. Probably.

First and third faults are probably related, and the other switches? Who knows? Because French? Currently £100

If you're really bored, then feel free to read the overly wordy ad.... Matey does seem to contradict himself a bit though....

I am told by various mechanics/AA technicians that it is a sought after engine by VW & Volvo enthusiasts that should go on forever provided you service it

have just spent £704 on the car with invoices dated 12/12/2019 to prove it at my local garage to cover:
- Oil filter change and new oil.
- Replacement tensioner, idler pulley, crank pulley, belt and new timing belt Cover.
currently it is a non-runner and will need to be towed away or picked up on a flat bed. The engine has ceased

Well, spunking £700 on it was well worth it then....

PHWOOOAAAARRRR. Anyone know what those headlights are off?

Just googled it and found an authoritative-sounding bloke saying theyre off a Mk2 Scirocco

Authoritative-sounding bloke is a bluffer — them’s Tagora headlights on a Brigand.

Integrated units on the Bristol/Gora, separate fogs on the mk2 Skizz.

God knows why, but this is rather appealing.

What do we think - Borked sensor / injector ?

It's fucked and a 2.2 DCI. Don't touch it!

Kind regards,

A Laguna Botherer

P.s. if you don't believe me on the full extent of 2.2dci awfulness, Google "Renault 2.2dci problems"

'The interior wasnt just 'converted', the idea was to really pimp it out inside so 1" thick shagpile carpet was fitted, all the plastic dirty grey panels inside were refurbished and refinished in black, the roof and quarter panels inside were all retrimmed in quilted Bentley style leather. Looks awesome!!'

Sounds amazing, M8, let's have a butcher's then...
