Have to admit this is a new one on me (the engine, not the fact it's a Bravo)

Yes, I knew that engine was in the smaller Fiats but not in the Bravo. I wonder if the BHP has a little bit of Italian flair about it (i.e. a little over optimistic!)

i'm loving this Leykor Mini Clubfoot estate, shame its missing the formica on the replacement front wing, but the condition of the rest of the body more than makes up for that.

Spacky reg plates aside, this Astra 2.0 Pez auto with its steering wheel on the left looks good VALU for £375, I bet its a very pleasant way to get about. Will this have the 2.0 8v 115bhp engine like a Cavalier?

'94 they introduced the Ecotec I think when the F was revised, so unfortunately this probably hasn't got the 8v in it.  If it did, most deffo WOULD.

Edit: mind you, that's still a tidy estate car for not much ££.

Going to try this with our dog in future, except he'd probably just go for a gypsy's on the wheel then walk off.

as i say, i keep looking at these (only cheapo spec ones, i don't do Cooper) as a replacement for the Rover.

and then feel abit dirty cos German (even if these R50's are all Rover's own work)

this little tundra green turd  gem deserves better than those shit wheels that its currently sat on.

and a proper allegro grille.

its got a square steering wheel though.....

Is that not Louise2CV's old car?

It's actually LIQUID yellow.

The problem with that at that price is that if you ever drive it, it will be worth £700 within a year or so.

40k now

70k in 2 years time.

Or 5p a mile in depreciation.

Plus Budget for a new gearbox at 95K

On the plus side, it's yellow, it's got steel wheels and the one can be tricked into giving 125 bhp after a bit of reprogramming.

I'm sad, so i think painting the roof black would be a nice thing to do.

I would suggest it's value in a stealer is £1500 max.

back in the olden days i so so wanted one of these.

this is a mark 1 model too, so is this i wonder the last one left?

ad this is the first one i've seen for sale in a long time that wasn't £10,000 or more.

i wonder just how fucked this REALLY is?

s-l1600.jpg

This was on eBay late last year and sold for just over £2k then (£2,210 to be precise if you check completed items). So the bloke is clearly just flipping it having pressure washed it.

I might offer him what he paid plus a tenner ?

He admitted as much on the CCC page,  and was quite naked in hoping to flip it for a lot more than he paid.

Think that car might be sitting with him for a good long while, as it's very well known now...

Maybe watching too much Mike Brewer.

That's my neighbour's old one. It was for sale on their drive for £900 a couple of months ago. If there is anyone here unwise enough to consider buying it at that price, I can tell you that the gearbox has already shat itself and been replaced, that would be about three years ago. They spent quite a lot keeping it going over the years...

One owner since 3 months old, 103k, recently recommissioned after being in storage.

Comes with the original wheels although the Lancia alloys kinda work.

Verdict: Would. Hard. Repeatedly.
