I find this so strangely alluring. The AX doesn't usually interest me much, but there is something about that one?

I guess it's carbed?

If it wasn't for the stupid house purchase constantly messing up over a whole frickin' year, I'd be enquiring to get it to me. ?

I'd imagine a G reg one is Carb as is pre cat.

It looks like its sold though. He's had an offer he's accepted.

Am I missing something, or is that quite bargainous?

That Rover 827 is a complete babe.

It lacks an MOT though — expired a couple of weeks ago, with advisories last year for rust and an exhaust blow:

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):

  • Oil leak, but not excessive Engine (8.4.1 (a) (i))
  • Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases (6.1.2 (a))
  • Underside has general corrosion
  • Sill lips have general corrosion

Still would though. Hard.

Ahhh the good* old magna. One can only assume Sochiro had been experimenting with class As when he decided to bung the engine from his flagship sportsbikes into a chassis with the handling characteristics of a drunken hippo.

He certainly was on class As when he designed the cam chain system for the vf range which can charitably be called hysterically bad. Coupled with chocolate camshaft the vf  range suffered in concert with the equally hysterical cam chain system on the cbx550 and early cx500 (which to be fair did mature into the couriers favourite) nearly sent Honda motorcycles bankrupt , presumably only sales of 250 wetdreams, cg125s and c90's fending off financial apocalypse.

In short the seller of the magna needs a shift kick in the nuts for not offering money to take Honda's worst hour away

That's a police spec VXR estate.

I assume it basically merit trim ?

Is it wrong to like it ?

67k Civic hatch that needs a little TLC for 370 quid. I'd almost be tempted myself if it wasnt for the rust.

Ah, EGs.

They're a rare beast now, and they rot worse than a lot of contemporary Hondas. Fucked examples can be had fairly easily for under £600, but a good one is going on £2k.

For some reason I can't grab an image of this very cheap very black Y reg and therefore very rare MINI

Slightly upgraded with an S bonnet.

I asked:  Is it a MINI ONE or a Cooper? I know it's not an S despite the bonnet because of the exhaust.
how is the gearbox. Have you ever had the gearbox oil replaced ?Would you consider a swap for something the same age but with twice the power?

Reply:

It’s mini one , get this car in part exchange last Wednesday so don’t know much about that car . All I know it’s drive nice and smooth, no knocks or bangs. Yes I would consider a swap.

Apparently you can remap the one to 125 bhp.

Y reg though.

Seem to recall there was a big 'debate' about that Vectra on the owner's page on Facebook. Most people said they never did a (police) VXR estate and it would have always been a basic model with the 2.8 (or whatever they are) engine.
