I spotted one recently at a Classic Japanese car meet in Melbourne. The one I saw had dark red corduroy seats (phwoar!), however 929 Legatos are quite rare here in Australia.

Were 929 Legatos ever sold in the UK? If so, I imagine in miniscule numbers.

Oh, it's worth persevering , just to see if there's any nuggets of truth in his bollocks, ( there aren't)  The first line where this 2.5 manual with cloth is described as " top of the range" sets the tone . Although my favourite chapter would have to be either the number plate bullshit or perhaps where he lists lots of random information from the Volvo High Mileage club members around the World.

Thi Mk1 Mondeo V6 Ghia estate looks alright

Needs some fettling and some hide food on the seats, but looks honest and unmolested, decent enough for 500 Gribbits

The only 929s we got here in that flavour were the 2.0 litre estates.

At least they've added another picture from the first time they listed it.

Bit of a bargain this (given he seems to imply £150 would buy it) even though it's shit its gearbox.

He reckons it's £150 as scrap, I'd be willing to bet that's £250 minimum, probably nearer £300.

That mazda pick-up looks thunderously shit!!! It would have made a cracking replica of those ace Portuguese trucks with the wooden back on em too.

Like a potato crate with his nan's outside bog door handles stuck on the back.

We had to combine the Seat and VW wiring looms together, but unfortunately when the mechanic came to cut away any excess wires he cut something and we don't know what and we can't get her started.

We're dealing with the pros here.
