I had an ex police cavvy with that engine bought from a trusted member of a vauxhall based website (name escapes me, it was about 15/17years ago now) and it was a bit of a bag of shit really which he lied a lot about all the things that were wrong with it plus offered a ton of spares that never materialised. He chose to ignore my pm's regarding the missing spare parts and as he was a well respected member on there, anytime I tried to post on his threads to get a reply I got banned or locked out. Saying that the v6 drove nice and was actually good on fuel as well. Seem to remember changing the timing belt was a total and utter nightmare on these but I'd imagine that's been done by now on this one as they wouldn't last forever.
