Me too. Having an Iv*co library is like having a fucking hungry lion outside Gregg's or a picture of K*ty H*pkins on the front of your missus' knickers. Ain't nobody going in there.

I dare say this’ll fetch some coin. Very sweet though.

Remember my Uncle buying an almost similar Nova SR back in the early 90's on a C reg as his first car! He showed us round it at my Grandmothers house when I was about 7 years old. He had Prodigy's 'charly' playing on the stereo. First time I'd heard Rave /  Dance music.  At that moment I thought my Uncle was the man living the dream. Was gutted when he sold it about 4 years later. But he brought a rather nice Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI afterwards though.

Since I'm moving into a down-at-heel 60s house, let's see what cars I can find to match.  Starting strong with this Consul, perhaps a little too shiny for the most part.

A diesel Morris Oxford, slightly shabby around the edges, in a dated colour scheme.  Not bad, would fit in nicely, especially since I'm never in a hurry to go anywhere.

Appealing colour scheme and condition on the outside.

Interior is a bit of a shock.

Think we'll pass on this one for now.

I mean, it's practical and interesting, but they're still going to charge me for taking a van into the local tip, aren't they?

It's okay, I've found the perfect solution.  This is the only car that matches my house.  Collection thread just as soon as I've found someone to buy some internal organs.

£8995!  And I sold mine for £45.  Same colour too (under the Dulux orange, around the wob)

For half the price, you could get this imported turbo Cherry instead.

That said, I'd probably spent the extra and get the Europe, 10K doesn't seem totally insane for a very rare car in what looks to be very good condition.  Proper enthusiast material though, so it might be sitting around waiting for a buyer for a while.
