It would seem further on that.

I've done Formby to Grasmere in the lake district on a moped (age 16) and it took alot of the day just to get to Preston.

Barge roulette; CL500 for 1000bins.

*Slight knock only under very hard acceleration some times. Think it's the diff mount that might need doing soon. Still a very fast and smooth car. *Suspension low warning light flashes up for a split second over some bumps, doesn't effect drive or ride though, suspension works as it should, goes up and down at the touch of a button

Finished at £375.

I was going to lob in a bid of £300 if it didn't move but jumped up a bit in the last 30 seconds.

It’s been on before, so you may yet get another go round.

I quite fancy another fling with a petrol Xantia, which is why this one had caught my eye.

That's utterly fantastic, and probably equally terrible. You wouldn't want to play poker with him though...

It was up with a £500 starting price before but didn't attract any bids (unless its been on before that too). I was going to try and buy it then but bought the Legacy instead.

I didn't want it but for £300 or so I'd have taken a punt for a laugh.

This just needs a service and then roll as is.  Probably.

I especially like that the service history is written up in an old RAF flying record book.

Whoa.  1300 L, too, for maximum misery.

Currently at £255.  Lots of MOT in spite of the crumbly rear arches.

The car I did my driving test in (cos the driving instructor's Micra shat its gearbox the day before my test) was my Mum and Dad's old C plate Opel Kadett estate, which was also a 1.3 L with no optional extras whatsoever, it didn't even have a radio. I loved the loooong gear ratios, you could get something like 70 in second iirc. It also had ludicrously soft suspension which would be great on shit modern roads and also amazing plough on oversteer.

I'd love this
