No me neither. I thought clattery saloon. Just a Camry. While stateside, in the Pacific Norther west Coast, I've always saw a handful of these. Trying to get a photo of one was hard as the owner was always next to it and trying to take a sneak photo was impossible for that reason. The GF, who's local to there, was confused as to why I wanted a photo of one as "Its some convertible Toyota shite" (say that in a US Cali accent, I've taught her well!) I'm sure the Buick Cascada has taken its role as the generic convertible of choice for rental companies... egg

It looks absolutely mint. If I could afford a second car to have as a non-daily driver, I absolutely would be ringing the seller right away. What a beauty. One of the few Maxi's I've seen for sale here (Maybe 5 come up for sale a year in New Zealand on a good year?) with the parcel tray still present. Being a 1750 it should have rod gear change instead of the cables? Hopefully it drives better than the last Maxi I drove! Maybe a replacement for Mr Hubnut if he decides to leave the BX on the North Island as talked about on YT. That would be an excellent idea I'd love to see (And I'm sure I'm not alone on here) a few more videos of a Maxi, this time on a back drop of terrific scenery. And those E-Series engines really do sing, it's a fantastic sound. ......And on that note, on the Maxi road test Hubnut did (Which I thoroughly enjoyed, no criticism here), there was no wiper/triangle of doom test! Time for round two, Hubnut? Remspoor

MarvinsMom
kerry has a thing about Volvo's. see, years and years ago the then brother-in-law dragged a volvo 244 out of a scrap yard and put it back on the road, for a short time...... the resulting psychological damage from this car has menst Kerry comes out in a sweat if you even mention owning a Volvo. and i like that shape Camry. egg
