Nearly had a heart attack: 265 miles on odometer.

A car you would be too scared to drive.

Alternatively, you could have this low-mileage one for a lot less....

Small problem with the keys, though....

One of those that won't look bad until you open the bonnet and find A) it won't open without a crowbar.  B ) The front slam panel is triangular and C) bet all the radiator supports, pipes, hoses etc around it have all been stretched, twisted and need done alongside the power steering pipe. Shame.

Bonus points for stopping to take pics of your bent in, near undriveable 406 with a car full of passengers, though.

"geez a minute mate, need to stop and get some photaes tae punt this on Gumtree later".

Mint.

**MINT**

"The only bad points with this stunning car are as follows; the dent in the rear left quarter pictured above, slight scratches in the bonnet (someone sadly done whilst the car was parked up which is a shame) and very tiny defects around the vehicle but nothing major."

**Mint**

"Furthermore, when we bought the car, it had no history, whilst it has been in our ownership, all work has been carried out privately by my uncle who is a mechanic, I can assure you no expense has been spared with this beauty."

SO ITS A DENTED SCRATCHED OLD CAR WITH NO HISTORY.

STILL WOULD OBV.

I'm highest bidder on this atm

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/183925362180?_trksid=p2471758.m4703

I suspect the 'trader' will be after big money so am fully prepared for a last minute pull and some shill bidding.  I just thought I'd stick a punt on it now as way of remembering about it.

If anyone wants in on a MK2 Golf in the best colour with the worst transmission then let me know! (!)

That is the best bit of chod I've seen in AGES.

I'd love to get that looking minty but I've no need and no real want - it's an avensis after all.

Seems to have a REV counter tho?  I'm sure I've seen them without such decadence...

Surprise surprise.  He's pulled it.

I've just text him saying I was prepared to pay £4k for 'nostalgic reasons'.  Always nice to cause people a bit of a flap!

Or Volkswagen at Wolfsburg wanting it for the museum at an undisclosed sum. Shame...we just bought another for £22,000.

Always a lot of grumbling on Ebay about buyers but sellers are no better.
