Hellow.

I'm a Zephyr. A soft gentle breeze.

And this is why ↓

RFQlJqM.jpg

A 2-litre Essex V4, with column gearchange. Fucking bastards at Ford.

In my 50 year life I've covered 20,000 miles. That's 400 miles each year for 50 years, or just breezing along a little more than a single mile each day since 1969.

Miles per hour, what's that? My speedo would barely flicker to read a tiny 8 on a miles per week setting.

But anyway, why not take a seat and just enjoy the view.

What a lovely old base-spec Zeff. This has to be the best one I've ever seen. Would be great to see it being used as someone's daily. Or as a taxi. 'Where to squire? - city centre, righto....'.

Asking £9k price tag though. Nine farzand pands to take you back to around 1971.

Expect it to reappear soon in a White Room ad with the front wheels turned at 'that angle' and offered at £29,950 till the end of time.

Where's that bargain barge thread gone?

4.2 v8 dual-fuel A8 Quattro. 105k, and if you look past the mild barrying, all the original bits are in the boot. Dirt cheap.

One of these already showed up in my personal bargain barge thread, just in S8 flavor. Too bad most of these seem to be at the brink of a 3 grand+ gearbox repair, this one might be alright at that mileage.

I’d love an 80’s Royce or Bentley. A Turbo R will be mine one day.

But for the price the above 3 are, I’d be very very nervous. They’re not complex cars but by fuck they know how to rinse your wallet when they want to.

And if all of these bargain basement Rollers are a little too pompous for you, how about this Bentley:

I cannot believe these 3 are for sale at the same time, all for around 2 grand.

Fucking wars, that's still tested too. Not for long mind and would probably bankrupt several large nations trying to get it through the next one.

That looks like a fibreglass roof, why the hell would you put a ladder on the back so people could stand on it, briefly ?

This sold for £4K - seems a hell of a lot for a CX with no test since 2011, clean as it is....

Someone wanted it badly enough. Wasn't me. TRS 22 means PSA/Douvrin J6T engine with carburettor and cambelt - sort of "back to basics" for the CX range.

Has the roof been photoshopped off that Metro, or did they do a pick up?

there are several factory built metro pick up trucks, which were design concepts, and a whole series of home brewed ones.

that one was for sale on ebay either last year or the year before, it wasn't cheap and was a home brewed up pick up. though it was quiet well done, it was a mix of mark one panel work, with mark 2 bumpers and dash board with mg seats.

i'm glad to see its still around!

if the advert is correct, this must be one of, if not the best marina's left in the world.

i can see that if i do manage to move the mini 1000 on that i may do something very foolish, like buy a Morris Marina.........

1972 Morris Marina 1.3 Deluxe Saloon For Sale (picture 1 of 6)

...... cos i'm an idiot

Better move before Grand Tour / Top Gear buy it in order to drop a grand piano on.
