BeEP
I viewed this today. It has about £10k worth of invoices since 2002. The odometer is broken obviously, but recent enough cambelt and the gearbox changes niiiiice. I'm going back to get it on Friday! Obviously. Anyone want a cheap Multipla? I don't want the Multipla back, but would love the 850 when you've finished with it. I phoned about it at 3.30 this afternoon and having checked insurance and train tickets was going down tomorrow morning. Only to discover at 6pm that it had been sold. Not a complaint; I've been away the last two days and just couldn't get there any sooner. Hope you enjoy it but I'd appreciate knowing if/when you come to move it on. bramz7

meggersdog
An interesting custom Capri from the early 70s has turned up, Hocus Pocus. A road car used for drag racing, not the usual OTT custom-paint showcar. There's a 1973 Custom Car mag feature in the photos in the ad listing.Built by a well known bike drag racer from the Manchester area. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Capri-Mk1-1970-famous-custom-built-HOCUS-POCUS-santa-pod-car-barn-find/283406935393?hash=item41fc5ea561:g:SgYAAOSwTmpcf92-&redirect=mobiledoes it yodel when you first start it up ? nivek
A very reasonable 1992 Cavalier SRi. Dark red seems unusual for an SRi and I don't think the alloys are original but a very nice looking example. JeeExEll
does it yodel when you first start it up ?I just had to find that on youtube and watch it again. My Mrs (who'd never heard of them) had tears in her eyes laughing. Starts off early 70s rock band then goes into something like Reeves and Mortimer or The Fast Show. JeeExEll
One more Capri for tonight. Quote -"3.0 MK2 Capri ghia. The pictures where taken last summer. Unfortunately the car has detiriated some what since then. Ideally could do with a new shell as it has rust all over it. The floor is rotten, seals, doors, sunroof, scuttle and tailgate. Has a flat battery at the moment but was driving. Would be best off trailoring away as the fuel tank won't take more than £5 at a time, must have some sort of blockage. It is MOT and TAX exempt. I will not take a penny less than £5000 as I really ain't to bothered whether it sells or not". Well that was quick deterioration since last summer, it doesn't look that bad. At least he's being up-front about it, the MOT records don't even mention corrosion. Could have been a nasty surprise for someone.I wouldn't hold out for the £5000.00p though, sell it for whatever you can get before it dissolves in the rain. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MK2-3-0-ford-capri/123676380389?hash=item1ccbafcce5:g:5uMAAOSwxS9cfvKN&redirect=mobile Remspoor
MarvinsMom
https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1070344 hot maestro vp action, in jewish racing beige. sadly no -plah on one of these, but even so the plastic painted-to-look-like-wood, and the leather trim are BOTH very nice to look at and comfortable to sit in, and these ride lovely. the one thing i don't like the sound of is the manual choke conversion. mine had that. and it was a twat to start especially when cold. putting the proper stepper motor back on ours made it much easier to start, and nicer to drive. still would though......
